MANTA BOMMIE DIVE SITE

Inarguably one of the top 5 dive sites in Australia. Manta Bommie is a Manta Ray cleaning station. Every year in summer between November and May, the Manta Rays pass through in numbers.

AUSTRALIA’S BEST INLAND DIVES

Kilsby’s sinkhole in an unexpected wonder. A hazardous obstacle in previous times, the sinkhole is 20 metres in diameter at the surface, and a long 10m-drop from the surface to the water below.

Julian Rocks Byron Bay DIVE SITE

Julian Rocks is a world class dive site located just off Cape Byron. The distinct exposed rock is visible from anywhere along Byron Bays shoreline. Julian Rocks is a declared marine park and a magnet for diverse marine life.

FLINDERS REEF DIVE SITE

Flinders Reef is located just north of Moreton Island right within Moreton Bay Marine Park. It is a beautiful coral reef as most divers would only expect to find at the Great Barrier Reef.

THE S.S. YONGALA DIVE SITE

Perennially renowned as one of the best wreck dives in the world, the S.S.Yongala sank on the Great Barrier Reef. Sunk in 1911 after a strong cyclone, has had over 100 years to a mass a great deal of marine flora and fauna.

MANTA RAYS – ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

There are two species of Manta, the Reef Manta and the Giant Oceanic Manta, the latter famed for its size, growing to a length of 7 metres (23 feet) from wing tip to wing tip and a weight of up to 2 tonnes when fully mature.
